Haven activities: Bungee trampoline

We’re made up of Lyndsey, John and Erin, who all love a new adventure. We try to get away as much as possible, especially during school holidays and variety is a must for us. That means staying anywhere from a luxury hotel to a hostel and it’s not often we go to the same place twice.

If you’re going on a holiday to a Haven park, then you can expect there to be lots of activities to take part in. As there are lots to choose from, it can be hard to know what to pick! Find out more about Bungee Trampoline, an activity we took part in at Haven Caister-On-Sea.

How to book

You can book activities in advance of your Haven holiday online, or on the My Haven app. You can browse through the days of your holiday to see when certain activities are available. It might be that some activities are only run once during this time.

If you book in advance, you can do so via your Haven account or the app. You will need to select the day and time of the activity from the activity listings, and how many people will be participating. Adults supervising don’t need to pay for a space. You will need to pay in advance when booking via the app.

Booking is also possible at the Haven site you’re staying at. There is usually a desk or area for booking any activities, possibly in the family entertainment centre.

This activity costs £7 (2025 price) per person.

Bungee Trampoline is suitable for ages 6+.

How long does the session last?

Bungee Trampoline sessions last for 10 minutes.

In order for your session to start on time, it’s important to be at the activity at least 5 minutes before the start time.

Bungee Trampoline: What can you expect from the activity?

If your child love a bungee trampoline as much as mine, you’ll be glad to see this activity at a lot of Haven holiday parks (not everywhere has them). As prices of activities go, this one is quite a good price at only £7. However, it does only last for 10 minutes.

Just before the session starts, you can check in with a member of the activities team at the location of the bungee trampoline. You may have to sign a form on the tablet, which is basically for health and safety reasons.

Once you’re all checked in, your child will be fitted with a harness by one of the team members. They’re really good at making sure everything is safe and secure, and they’ll chat to your child to help them feel at ease. Then it’s time to bounce!

The bungee trampoline is great fun! Your child will be attached to bungee cords that help them jump much higher than they could on a normal trampoline. If they struggle, like Erin sometimes does, staff can help and give them a bit of a boost. There’s often lots of cheering and giggling, and it’s a brilliant way for them to burn off some energy.

Although it’s only a 10-minute session, it’s usually enough to get a good few jumps in, and the kids always seem to come off with huge smiles on their faces. Just bear in mind that it can be weather dependent, so if it’s very rainy or windy, it may be cancelled or postponed.

It’s a popular activity, so I’d recommend booking in advance through the Haven app or website before your holiday, especially during peak times like school holidays. You can also sometimes book on-site, but slots do fill up quickly.
