Meet the O'Hallorans

We’re made up of Lyndsey, Erin and Grandma, who all love a new adventure. We try to get away as much as possible, especially during school holidays and variety is a must for us. That means staying anywhere from a luxury hotel to a hostel and it’s not often we go to the same place twice.

We do a real mix of travelling, sometimes as a family and sometimes separately. Sharing both the good and the bad, you’ll find itineraries, reviews and ideas for days out both in the UK and further afield.

Lyndsey

From having the freedom of going anywhere I wanted at 18, I caught the travel bug early on. At 19 I went to Toronto on my own for a whole month and then moved there the year after on a working holiday visa. I love the sense of adventure on holiday, whether that’s in the UK or abroad and I can’t wait to discover somewhere new. I’m often found planning our next trip away or dreaming about a new destination.

Bucket list destinations: Edinburgh, Washington DC, Virginia and a train journey in Canada.

Erin

Erin (b.2016) is now in junior school and absolutely loves learning new things. She is a keen reader and has the beginnings of a small library in her bedroom. Erin is also an active child, taking part in any after-school activity she can, attending Brownies and having karate lessons each week. Just like her Mum, Erin loves to travel and always asks when the next trip away is.
