Entrance to Legoland adventure golf

The O'Hallorans

The OHallorans

We’re made up of Lyndsey, John and Erin, who all love a new adventure. We try to get away as much as possible, especially during school holidays and variety is a must for us. That means staying anywhere from a luxury hotel to a hostel and it’s not often we go to the same place twice.

Looking for family fun with a twist? LEGOLAND Windsor’s Adventure Golf is the perfect blend of LEGO magic and mini-golf thrills! Get ready to tee off on creative, LEGO-themed courses that bring the whole family together for an unforgettable day of playful competition.

Where you can play adventure golf at Legoland Windsor?

Legoland Windsor’s adventure golf building is located just a couple of minutes away from the main entrance and the car parks. It’s a huge building with a giant golf ball outside so you can’t miss it!

Who can play?

The great news is that you don’t need tickets for Legoland to be able to enjoy a round of adventure golf. As the building is outside of the Legoland theme park, you can book to play separately if you want to.

There is no age restrictions on who can play but smaller children may need some help.

What to expect from Legoland Windor’s adventure golf!

When you arrive every player will be given a golf club and ball, as well as a score card to fill in as you go round. Staff are so friendly and really made an effort to chat to us before we started our game.

In the reception area you’ll find some tables and chairs, the toilets, a small Lego play area and somewhere to get snacks and drinks. The area was very well thought out and it was nice to have somewhere to sit after our game and while we totalled up our scores!

As expected, adventure golf here is Lego themed. There are 4 different courses available including the themes of Space Mission, Pirate Voyage, City Adventure and Medieval Village. The problem here is that it makes it hard to decide which theme to play, unless you want to play all 4! We went for medieval golf in the end.

All of the courses consist of 9 holes, all themed and with a variety of challenges to overcome along the way. Some holes were much easier than others, while some took us quite a few attempts. It wasn’t very busy when we visited so this allowed us to take our time when we wanted to. You will need to consider other players though if adventure golf is busy at the time.

At the end of the course the last hole will keep the ball but you can take the clubs back to reception. Here, you might also want to ask about Pop badges to get one exclusive to Legoland Windsor’s adventure golf activity.

How long will a round of golf take?

We only played 1 round of golf and we were somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes. We could have done it a bit quicker but we took our time as it wasn’t busy.

Overall thoughts

As we were visiting Legoland anyway and staying at the brand new Woodland Village, it seemed silly not to take advantage of the free golf session. However, we enjoyed the Lego themed adventure golf so much that we would absolutely book to go again. The four courses are really well thought out and well themed. They’re great fun whether you’re just into mini golf, Lego or both.
